The CTNR bundles the scientific activities of neurosciences and improve the visibility and outcomes of the University Medical Centre Rostock in the field. The centre focuses on “Resilience in Neurodegeneration – from the model to the patient to the population” and represents one of the main scientific medical areas in Rostock.
Multidisciplinary research focused on Parkinson's disease (MultiPark)
A strategic research area (SRA) supported by the Swedish Government. Through a comprehensive scientific programme we aim at unraveling basic disease mechanisms, improving diagnostics precision, and developing efficient methods of treatment and carefor people affected by neurodegenerative diseases.
